DAVIDE LA TORRE

Davide La Torre is Professor of Mathematics for Economics and Actuarial Science (SECS-S06), he holds a Laurea in Industrial Mathematics (4-year combined program BSc+MSc) and a PhD in Computational Mathematics and Operations Research both from the University of Milan, Italy. He has a long research and teaching experience at university level and he has held academic positions in Europe, North-America, Australia, Middle East, and Central Asia. His research interests include: Chaos, Fractals, and Dynamical Systems; Inverse Problems for Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations; Multiple Objective Optimization and Goal Programming; Deterministic and Stochastic Optimal Control; and their application to Mathematical Economics and Mathematical Finance. He has more than one hundred publications in Scopus.
